GreenLight Project to Present Its Results at the Ecocomp 2019 Conference

Environmental awareness has stimulated an increased interest in sustainable materials and issues such as recyclability and environmental responsibility are becoming ever more important.

Composite materials and products need to play their part in addressing these concerns as environmental legislation and consumer demand is increasing the pressure on manufacturers and designers to consider the impact of their products at all stages of their life cycle.

The Ecocomp 2019 Conference, configured to reflect the complete life cycle of composite products, will attract an audience of OEMs, end-users, composite material manufacturers and suppliers, designers, academics and researchers.

The GreenLight Project is pleased to announce several of its project partners will be presenting at the Ecocomp 2019 Conference on 19-20 June 2019 at DoubleTree by Hilton, Coventry in the UK.

Per Tomani of RISE will be speaking on ‘Lignin Opportunities’, Lars Bostan of FIBRE & Omid Hosseinei of RISE will be speaking on ‘Lignin based carbon fibres: Challenges in process scale up’ and Dr Vio Lambertini of FIAT (CRF) will be speaking on ‘Future Strategies for Sustainable Polymers’.

Conference delegates will also have a chance to network with the project partners on the dedicated exhibition stand at the event.
